Dress Rehearsals this week!

You all look fantastic and in character with your costumes.  We are excited to see it all come together for the performance!  Thank you for your understanding and patience with the costume committee.  A couple of us (guess who😊) are novices, doing our best to help you have a wonderful performance.  We’ve listed a few reminders to help with the performances.  Let us know if you have any questions.

1. NO nail polish to be worn during performances.
2. Everyone is to have on a white tank top (ladies) or t-shirt (gentlemen) at all times, unless directly told by a costume committee member not to wear one with your costume.
3. All ladies are to wear bras that are NOT cross-back.  I know they are comfortable, but won’t work with most costumes.
4. Everyone is to either were shorts  or leggings and underwear.
5. Ladies you may bring jewelry you’d like to wear with your costume to the dress rehearsal for approval.
6. NO dangling ear rings please. They interfere with microphones.
7. Remember to shower and use anti-perspirant deodorant daily so your costume stays fresh for each performance.  We want to return them in the condition we received them, if not better.
8. Follow Ms. Kim’s directives on footwear and tights.  If you didn’t get an email from her please contact her asap.
9. We also need dressers to help actors into costumes each night. See Kim for assignment.

Thank you,

The Costume Committee

Almost Showtime!

It's almost showtime!

Just a few reminders:

First, I'd like to say thank you to all of you who are coming each week to rehearsals!  I know inclement weather has been at our door steps recently, but I am proud of you for coming when you can!

Due to inclement weather being a factor, I am calling for extended time at rehearsals for both Friday and Saturday this week. Friday's rehearsal will be from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. I will expect all students to stay and practice. Saturday's rehearsal will be from 10-1pm.  You can rest up on Sunday for the coming week.

Individuals may chose to come as as early as 4 pm Friday to practice, and as early as 9am Saturday.

Check the calendar for arrival and departure times at the Kroc next week.

Also, review past posts on the web for this information.

If you have any questions, please ask me or one of the Staff.

You are doing a fabulous job!

Prayerfully yours,

Mrs. Moore

Feb 23rd Rehearsal!

Hey friends!

We're keeping an eye on the weather this weekend, so be watching your notifications for any news concerning tomorrow's rehearsal.

With that in mind, tonight's rehearsal is still on and we're down to some crucial last rehearsals before we hit the stage and need as much time together as we can possibly get!

I'm calling for an extended rehearsal tonight for ages 8 on up so that we can use the time provided for us to the best of our ability.

I'll keep y'all no later than 9pm.

Thank you for your hard work. I'm so proud of each of you!

In Christ,

 Rolena  Hatfield

No more absences!

The clock is ticking!

We're getting closer to performance time! This week, I want to, first, praise our Cinderella family, for all your hard work! It was a great joy, to see all your faces, and hear all your voices at rehearsal last Saturday!

I am encouraged at what I see! However, we have alot more work ahead of us, as the clock ticks toward showtime!

Having said this, I am going to remind those who've been absent, no more absences will be excused from here on out, unless it's an emergency! If one major role cast member came to rehearsal while still not feeling well, then the rest of you can as well. If you remember, I announced at the beginning of this production, that as we get closer to performance night, absences from the normal arrangements will not be excused, unless it's an emergency.

Thank you for your understanding and desire to make this production  the very best it can possibly be for the good Lord who makes all things possible for you and me!

In His Service,

Mrs. Moore

Updates for Dress Rehearsals

Hi everyone! Where did this week go? Don't blink, or we will miss next week!

Here is an update:

First, I can't tell you how beautiful you all are to me! Each one of you are like a piece of stained glass. When placed, and fastened in, you all become a portrait of something very beautiful! It has been my prayer that Christ would be seen in the final stages of this masterpiece. I see Him in your faces, and hear him in your voices. I see Him reaching out, wanting us all to succeed, cheering us on!

"Reach!" He says. "Reach for the prize!"

I am confident we will get there. Meanwhile, keep your focus, and know it all comes from Him anyway!

As the final month before dress rehearsal is arriving, I want you all to know the arrival and departure times at the Kroc.

Dress rehearsals will begin Monday, March 5th, at 6 pm. You can arrive as early as 5 pm. Warm up at 5:30 pm. Start promptly at 6 pm. The Littles will go no later than 9 pm. The rest will go to 10 pm if needed. Everyone must depart by 10:30 pm.

The performance day times continue with the same arrival time, as early as 5 pm., etc., and departure time will still be no later than 10:30 pm.

Sunday, March 11th, is our matinee performance which will begin at 2 pm. Everyone needs to arrive by 12:30 pm.

Departure time is no later than 5:30 pm.

If you have any questions, please ask me or one of the Staff.

With love in Christ,

Mrs. Moore

Photos this Friday!

Sincere, warm greetings to you all!

It's another week closer to a very special dream coming true!

First, I'd like to say thank you to all Staff and Cast,  Orchestra, and Parents and Families for your tremendous, tenacious
commitment  to making this dream come true! Each of you are very important moving pieces to the portrait of Cinderella. I wake up every day with an amazing awe, being a part of such an amazing group of people working toward an amazing goal - to present a musical production which centers around Christ and His Kingdom! Thank you for believing! May your faith be strengthened because of it!

Our photographer will be at rehearsal Friday to take the Casts' individual pictures for the playbill. Please, everyone, try to be there.

Have a great rehearsal!

Prayerfully yours,

Mrs. Moore

WE NEED YOU...and props!

IT'S TIME TO GATHER PROPS for our cast to use at rehearsals & the shows! To keep costs to a minimum we are hoping to borrow all of these items (rather than purchase or rent).
BELOW IS A LIST OF PROPS NEEDED. Please comment below or contact me directly if you (or a friend/family) can commit to letting us borrow any of these items!
All props will be stored at the church where we rehearse beginning this Friday, January 19th - SO PLEASE BRING YOUR PROP ITEM(S) TO REHEARSAL NOW THROUGH FEBRUARY 2ND!
I'll be keeping an inventory, taking a picture of each item, and noting it's owner so that everything is returned to you once we have wrapped up our final performance.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at bethwaggs@gmail.com, FB message, or call/text 712-309-6011.
Thank you! - Beth Wagner

Performance and Rehearsal Updates

Hear ye! Hear ye! Ohhhhh - eeeee - yehhhhhz!
First, something old:
It's that "time" to call out to you all, updating you, in these low-abating, temperatures!
Second, something new:
I've added something and dropped something in the schedule.
1)I've added another weekend of rehearsals - Friday, March 2nd, and Saturday, March 3rd. Same times.
2)I've dropped the second week of performances at the Kroc.  I believe there will not be enough seats filled to justify 6 performances.  However,  I've scheduled a matinee performance Sunday, March 11th, which will begin at 2 pm. All Staff and Cast will arrive at 12:30 pm. The performance will begin at 2pm. that day.  All else stays the same the first week.
If you have any questions ask me.
If you are handing out fliers, feel free to explain the adjustment, but online they will only be able to pick from the dates available, so it's pretty self-explanatory.
Third, something borrowed:
Please check with family and friends to see if they have props that we can borrow for the show. Mrs. Wagner has the prop list. Please check with her to see what is needed first. She also plans to put a list together and post that to the website soon. Once you find something, you can bring it to the church to store where we will be storing costumes soon, in the Choir room.
Fourth, something blue:
I will be ordering blue T-shirts for each student in cast and orchestra, to wear as  a souvenir of the show.
I would like you to sign up and include your size at rehearsal this Friday or Saturday, if you want one, so I can get those ordered. I will be taking orders throughout the rest of January.
I believe that is all the news from this town crier for now.
Have a great rest of your week!
I'll see you at rehearsal!
Loving you in Christ,
Mrs. Moore

Cast Biographies DUE Jan 20th!

Hello!
All cast and orchestra members, please write up a brief bio of yourself and send it to biannahpejipalm@gmail.com by Jan. 20th!
The bio will be in our performance programs so the audience will know a little bit more about those they see on stage :).
Bio example: Rolena Hatfield is a homeschool student in the 7th grade. She preformed as Beth in Little Women the Drama at The White Barn Theater and sings in the Omaha Homeschool choir. She loves playing violin, writing books, and taking in stray cats. This is her first time to preform in a musical and she'd like to thank her family for making it possible!
Thank you!

Rehearsal Attendance

Hello Cinderella family!

Biannah, your stage manager, has asked that anyone who will be absent from any rehearsals between today and our performance dates, please let her know A.S.A.P.

I know this question was asked before on a form, but our rehearsal schedule has changed to include Saturdays now... so we need to update this information. (See website calendar for updated rehearsal schedule.)

Also, if you are no longer participating in the production, yet you are still receiving these posts, you will need to unsubscribe from the email updates.
